I am some kind of mountain man, I suppose, living a small life in a big way. Some people are focused on their next "thing". The "things" I need are all around me. Most of my life is spent outside backcountry skiing, caving, climbing, running, hiking, hitch hiking, backpacking, generally looking for the next big adventure. When I need to, I'll focus on making money and that side of life. I don't engage in that as much as some and I don't need to. For work, I am a certified underground miner that works in a local gold mine. My idea of a good day is to go to a place where normal people don't go, working quite hard to get there, just to be able to see what the world gives me in that place that day.
