I like to think I'm a well rounded person, by which I mean I enjoy a decent, serious debate but can't help it imploding into a daft and silly conversation. In fact, they're the best right? I'm enthusiastic about all sorts, it's quite varied.
Things I like (the very short version):
> The Great Outdoors. A lot....climbing, kayaking, skiing, cycling, surfing, walking, mountaineering, sailing...
> The environment of the The Great Outdoors...the coast, mountains, a beach, a forest.
> Getting in from The Great Outdoors and drying out by a fire. I also like making the fire.
> Food (and cooking). And lots of it. Preferably after, or near, a fire.
> Beer and/or Whisky. By a fire. There should be a nap thrown in there somewhere. And coffee.
> Long lunch breaks. What happened to taking the time to make a decent sandwich?
> Architecture and associated subjects.
> Terrible, terrible puns
> Museums. And documentaries. And reading.
> Daftness; silly walks, hilarious accents, Bill Bailey, Monty Python, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, The Goonies.
Future ambitions:
> To keep bees.
> To go to the Theatre more, and gigs.
> More travelling, including exploring the UK further. Also to visit Ireland within the next year.
> An expedition which includes sailing and skiing.
> To build a boat.
> To pull off a Scottish accent.
It'd be great to meet someone open-minded, independent, a bit adventurous, prepared to try something new and has a good sense of humour...or can put up with mine.
