I'm a down-to-earth girl who is just as likely to be found wearing jeans and trainers as heels and lipstick, and would prefer to be at the top of a mountain than stuck on a beach holiday. I'm happy to rough-it camping, but also appreciate a bit of luxury every now and again!

I have a sense of adventure and love the outdoors - skiing, climbing, walking or just exploring somewhere new. Not that I'm adverse to a cosy night in front of the TV (though if you're looking for a Big Brother or X-factor viewing companion, that's probably not me!).

I am quite practical (I can actually both read a map and use a drill ;-) ) and independent but underneath this exterior is someone who enjoys being looked after once in a while and would love to meet someone who is passionate about their own dreams and ambitions.

Despite being a country girl by upbringing, I'm loving being in London. I love my job, have a great circle of friends, and find it's hard to beat a glass of wine on the South Bank on a warm summer evening. When I'm grown up though, I'd love to live somewhere green, with plenty of space for a big friendly dog :-) , and the dream would be even better with the right person to share it.
