So, here it is: After a relationship or two I found out I'm basically not the 'stay at home type'. I now spend most of my working days either abroad or affshore. I work hard and enjoy progressing in my career, but try just as hard to not let it stand in the way too much of my personal life.
In my spare time I like to seek out the adventures life can throw at us, if you know where to find them. I love mountaineering, rock climbing, I spend as much time as I can flying my paraglider through the European skies, and spend the time in between looking for new places to travel to. Altogether somewhat of a busy life you could say.
I've often wondered how anybody could possibly fit into this crowded scheme, or better said, if there would be anyone who would even want to try. And it's also not true that I feel lonely, I have plenty of friends with whom I share and enjoy the things that I do. But still once in a while I do miss that soulmate, that person you feel you belong together with. That person that, even if she's not physically there where I am at that time, gives me the feeling she's there for me. I think you know what I mean, if you're anything like me.
About music. My musical taste is somewhat erratic, and diverse to say the least. But mainly I listen to rock, punk rock, metal, but I really enjoy pop music too, Chemical brothers, the odd dance/house album, you name it. I have Norah Jones albums for those breezy mornings (nothing like waking up to Norah singing), basically if something gives me a spark, I don't care what type of music it is.
The things I find most important in a possible partner are flexibility, a tatse of adventure, self consciousness and confidence, independance, but above all a great sense of humor!
