Meeeeeee! My life is blessed with many beautiful people and experiences. I thank Renee my wife who died January 2014 for a wonderful 34 year adventure.
My Two geriatric dogs, Harry and Pearl bring me joy. Both have one foot in the grave and require a lot of attentiveness and love at this stage of their lives. Harry was dumped at my home in the country 12 years ago and I adopted Pearl as a puppy. I named Pearl after Janis Joplin, my first love. I had a crush in Janis in the 60's. What a shame she did not even know.
I have an interest in alternative construction methods that are earth friendly and create a healthy environment for living are a passion of mine. There are many types of alternative construction that are very adaptable and suitable for varying climates. Some of my favorites are Cob, Earthbag, and certain types of hybrids. These types of houses are very affordable and easy to build. I think everyone, if desired, should be able to afford a home. Especially a healthy home.

The energy in the food of Macrobiotics when prepared correctly is amazing. To learn this science, I volunteered as a cook at Casa De Luz for several weeks. It was a very cool and amazing experience.

Love Blues..Delta Blues, Electric Blues, Chicago Blues all speak to my soul. Do not leave out Classic Rock and Kirtan. Read a lot of books on spirituality. I did enjoy Dan Browns last two books,The Lost Symbol and Inferno. Movies??? I do not watch tv so I do not know a lot about movies. The Jungle Book is my favorite movie. I think Baloo Bear is so cool. I sing the Bear Necessities song all the time.

A Master Herbalist for over thirty years and Ayurvedic Practioner about ten years. Openly sharing to those that have an interest in my passion is a blessing for me. Life has taught me the best way to learn is to share or teach.

My favorite distractions are yoga, meditation, Estatic dance, nature, campfire under the stars, interesting conversation, unique people, backpacking, hiking, coffee, and good food.
