Here is what i seek in a woman : A slightly tomboyish woman that always enjoyed doing things with the guys when you grew up but you still have your feminine side and enjoys being athletic and adventurous , eating healthy most of the time and doing anything outdoorsy such as hiking ,snow skiing,dancing, kayaking, boat camping in remote places, sailing, mountain biking a real plus, surfing, riding motorcycles or unicycles, pole fishing,spear fishing, land sailing and occasional road trips to Mexico. If I am so lucky that you have a domestic side and your a people loving person that keeps a neat home and enjoys cooking at times to entertain at home for family or friends on occasion, i will likely love you forever !
Here are a lot of random thoughts about myself: First off, i am not always on the go so this is simply a summation of the current things i do. I am a renaissance man with many experiences passions and talents. I have traveled to Canada, Mexico, Europe, and including west- central and East coast of USA. I have a young spirit and attitude and that's what keeps me young! I love holding hands and showing affection publicly and being passionate but I also need my own space and time for personal creative projects and staying connected with my friends. I am actually very laid back and non materialistic,home owner, independent politically and non religious (brought up catholic though) but very spiritual in the belief there is something greater than us all due to my experiences. I was brought up by very educated entrepreneurial French and Spanish speaking parents that taught us to be independent and creative. I am a athletic country boy at heart because i grew up on a farm of a family of eight but now we are a family of four and I now live in the city of San Diego. I prefer jeans, boots, shorts and sandals attire over a suit and tie but I do own a suit. I fear the ocean but I have sailed the rough seas but prefer calmer waters and continue to do so on my own sailboat. I am a leader and a follower when it is appropriate and I would prefer a long term partner that enjoys planning together as well, I fear height but love flying in small planes and gliders and did it for many years. I play music (guitar, keyboard and saxophone as a amateur and sometime make more noise than music- smiling), I am currently trying to start another band again. I mountain biked horrific trails and currently do it weekly (15 to 25 miles) to keep in top shape and I hiked the Sierras and other foreign regions and I have traveled to-far away places, I love all cultures, I love helping people, I lived on a farm in a foreign country with my family, born and raised in the USA, I am into the sustainability life style and recycling and incorporate it in my daily home life. I have enjoyed five star hotels but I prefer a palm leaf hut (with the view of a million stars instead of a 5 star hotel) in a warm climate with a lake or ocean view, or a cozy winter cabin will also do well, I have tamed horses and dogs, rounded cattle on the farm, motocross the deserts and mountains, developed and designed my own land sailor (the blue one on the pics) and a water catchment system for my home. I have started building my own wind turbine- is in progress, love to tinker and repair anything in the garage endlessly. I enjoy a neat home but my garage is a disaster due to- too many projects! I enjoy thought provoking movies ,KPBS, documentaries, science, star trek, and I enjoy organic gardening- also in progress. I am worldly aware,I am a skilled trades man in many trades seeking a woman with little fear but with a big heart! I am not at all for the timid of heart, I am tolerant of most people and everything in my life starts with a dream. I love my home as much as I like being outdoors. I have taken a huge turn around in my life and gave up a great job and pay- settled for a early retirement to spend with my aging mother of 94 yrs ( passed away (10-19-2018) and now that both parents are gone i look forward to finding a significant other to spend the rest of my life with. I miss my full head of hair ( balding on top) but what can you expect at this age. I am proud of my body it's in great shape and much better than most my age. All the interests hobbies I have attached below I currently own and I do all of them seasonally- it is a life style I have lived all my life and that is how i connect with others! It is" VERY IMPORTANT" for me to be with someone that has a good balance of outdoors exercise diet and activity's and is as passionate about outdoorsy recreational sports (NOT spectator sports such as football or baseball even though i will go to them when asked ) and hopefully you have some of your own interests to share! I am traditionally a classic rock guy but my music interests are so varied that it is easier to tell you what I "DON'T like-- Rap or acid hard rock! I like surrounding my life with light hearted intelligent interesting people (that don't get bent out of shape over little things) and you must have a desire for adventure and learning. I don't take most things seriously until it gets me into trouble! I aspire to be the best at what I do regardless how others do it and my personality is gentle 98% of the time and I avoid drama. Most of all I live in the moment ! Please be a very outdoorsy fun spirited person that chooses to date me because our life compliment each other! Life is a wonderful miracle and i look forward to sharing it with you as i do with my many friends !
