Being in the great outdoors is my greatest passion, whether it is on top of a mountain or near a beach. I love a good adrenaline rush every now and then.

I participate in many creative and athletic pursuits. I like to write, paint, swim, ski, cycle, play tennis and beach volleyball.

My vacations have included everything from retreats in Northern Ontario, cycling in France, touring in Japan and camping in Turkey. I am just as comfortable staying in a 5-star resort as I am sleeping in a tent.

Although I love the water I cannot lie on a beach for too long. I prefer to go for a walk along the shoreline, ride in a kayak or practice yoga on stand-up paddle boards.

I enjoy surprises, dancing, sports, last minute plans, open-mindedness, craziness and spontaneity. I often go to cultural events at the Harbourfront. I think it is important to learn about other cultures to foster understanding and global awareness.

I like cooking, going to farmers' markets and eat healthy 80% of the time.

I am grateful for many things including a great job, good health and my friends.

I believe everything happens for a reason and that we can learn from everyone we meet.

I think it is important to stay curious and never stop learning. I like to give back to the community when possible.
