I absolutely love to camp. I've just started to get into backpacking and have been slowly getting farther and farther off the grid every time I head out. I love the peace and quiet. Give me a day full of sunshine, a nice long secluded trail, my trusty dog at my side and I'll hike 'til I drop. Just taken up trail running too. Something I never thought I would do. I was always one of those people that would run, only if something was chasing me. But I hit a slump and to jump start my routine again signed on with a personal trainer. She stressed doing something that I loved but pushing limits. Obvious, right? So my hikes turned into jogs, turned into longer jogs, now I'm actually running, for fun. Go figure. Love being outdoors. I really want to try my hand at other activites. I plan on trying skydiving this summer. There's a few places near where I live and I've put it off for far too long. Been pricing kayaks also, now if I can just get someone to teach me the basics I'm all set.

What trails allow dogs to hike w/u? All the trails in the U.P. don't allow it. I just started this site and can't figure out how to upload photos, so bare w/me. Any way, good for you on pushing your limits.
