I'm Romanian of origin and lived in NJ for several years. I'm well educated and well traveled.
l enjoy a peaceful, quiet life, no drama, no stress... I love to be outdoors and be active (I like walking, hiking, biking, swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, cross country skiing, dancing). Sorry, no hunting or fishing... I'm also no big fun of driving :( (yes, I lived in a big city and was used to walk everywhere!! (so I'd be mostly interested in someone in the area, or who doesn't mind driving!).
I like animals a lot and have a (spoiled!) dog :)
I eat healthy, but I'm not at all into cooking (sorry!). I just can't stand to sit around the house all evening just to make and have dinner; I prefer to go for a long walk or paddleboarding and have a snack and a glass of good wine...
I've been in NC for a couple of years and bought my own place; still have one in Bucharest, too.
I work in order to have a life (and not the other way around!) I still work in Quality Management 3 days a week, but always hated sitting in an office, so now I recently started working as a fitness instructor, which I enjoy a lot.
I do not intend to ever remarry, but hoping to have a good life partner.
I love my life as is, but think it would be even nicer to have a special someone who shares the same interests and be reliable, as I have no family here.
I also like to take my time and get to know people well.
The online dating is definitely not my favorite, to be honest (repeating my likes and dislikes and so on over and over...), but guess this is the way it goes these days...
I also don't believe in perfection nor fairy tales, don't see any people around jumping in joy either, but I believe in respect, help, companionship, kindness.
I don't think age is very important, but being fit and having (to a certain extent) common interests, lifestyle.
