I love the outdoors, and prefer to be there when possible. I enjoy hiking and camping, whether I am taking day hikes and car camping or backpacking. I like to fish although I don't ever seem to catch much, but that's OK with me - I just like the act I guess. I also love sailing, although at this point, it is more the idea of sailing since I haven't been in years. Same with flying - I have my pilot's license but haven't used it in over a decade :-( Career and family changed priorities for a while!

For the white time of year, I like to ski - although I tried snowboarding this year for the first time - the jury is still out, I'll need to try it another time or two to see if I switch over!

I guess what I am looking for in a woman is that they are willing to accompany me on my journey through life, which will include things like hiking, camping, rock climbing, exploring new places (at home and afar), and exploring new foods from far flung places (I love to cook, both indoors and out). I'm not looking for a drama queen, although I know everyone has issues from time to time - just don't want anyone high-maintenance, you know? The biggest thing is the attraction (not just physically). I want this person to light up a room when they walk in - I have a few friends that are like this for each other, so I know it is possible.
