I'm a geek from California who majored in Physics (Stanford no less) and now I work for one of the largest hedge funds in the world. I work hard and play hard. I'm very outdoors-centric, with current sports being climbing (ice and rock), hiking, kayaking and biking. Just started outrigger paddling and trying out for the roller derby league in Westchester next month. When I'm not outdoors or traveling around the world, I'll be either out with friends exploring new haunts in the city, trying new restaurants, checking out an indie film in Brooklyn or just hanging out in Williamsburg or LES. Or at home cuddling with my 12-lb terrier named Planck while watching Netflix or reading the latest book on my huge stack to get through. The latest one? Erik Larson's "In The Garden of Beasts." I'm looking for a serious relationship and someone who enjoys getting out there, whether it's to go hike and climb around in the Jungfrau, catch a sordid foreign horror flick at ReRun or cook dinner together with a nice wine or cocktail.
