Hi, I am an active guy who balances family and friends with hiking and backpacking. I adventure with my son a couple times a month and we are active in cub scouts. I have a lot of self-motivation, appetite for calculated risks, and ability to defer gratification for long term goals. That does come with a side-order of easily distracted. Did I just hear the stove timer ding? Watching sports is fun, but I am not really into playing them or video games.
I would like to find a lady in a similar or compatible situation. Maybe we just end up as adventure friends, but maybe
I am up front with who I am, and I am very difficult to offend. Then again I do have flaws, like writing run on sentences. I make pies from scratch, including the fruit I canned myself. I believe in real whipped cream with lots of vanilla, not cool whip. I've had less in my life, and I've had more.
I am content with life now and some people would say my life is pretty ideal. And it's fairly true; I have a stable job working for myself, work reasonable hours, have good friends, a great child, fun interests.
But I would like to share it with a great friend and partner. I want a love affair as exciting in year 30 as year one. It would feel bad ass to say that relationship, no relationship, it's all the same to me, world! But I would like companionship.
I believe a great long term relationship requires a great match in values, goals, life stage, interests, and a big dose of chemistry. How might we be a match? You communicate easily, and enjoy talking about life. You like adventure and doing new things. You like to be together and are affectionate, but don't have to be together all the time. You will take a calculated risk, but not a crazy one.
You work for money, but are not about money. You have a positive attitude and don't tear other people down. You would rather go to REI than the mall!
