Years after falling in love with outdoor activities, I've found myself surrounded by indoors types. Dont get me wrong, after a 12 hour shift, I love nothing more than falling out hard, but I miss how I used to spend my free time. I'd like to renew that love affair I once had. Hard to drag indoorsy people out and actually enjoy the activity and company when the interest isn't reciprocated.

I have a good job that affords me scheduling freedom and a paid time off alottment that is merely a large, ever growing number on my pay stubs. Getting older (hey 40!), damn near an empty nester, and being single has made me realize I'd like to expand beyond the "norm" of what dating seems to have become nowadays. I don't just want to click with someone; I genuinely want to share like-minded interests.

My love affair began during a period of my life that was difficult yet it brought me joy and peace. I could only imagine how much more I'd enjoy it now. Forgive the lack of "outdoor" themed pics; it's been awhile. Perhaps take some new ones with me?
