...Spending as much time as I can on the water and on the trail. I'm a mariner/ commercial sailor/ deck officer and a consultant during my off times.

I'm looking for a self or traditionally educated woman who enjoys spending time in the outdoors. I like hiking, backpacking, snow shoeing and other winter sports as well as sailing, Fly Fishing and global trekking. (This does not mean that I always like to "sleep in the dirt." I am also looking for someone who would like to go to shows (from opera to dub), go out to great dinners, museums, etc. Ideally I would like someone who is passionate about the underlying mode of their career and/or education in the arts and/or sciences, but I am not a career snob...what ever moves you.

I am currently a mariner/ commercial sailor who is currently an officer on a 650 foot coastal tanker who also sails on traditional sailing vessel for business and pleasure. In my off time, I spend a lot of time outdoors and will take on an occasional consulting assignment. I am also looking for someone who is goal oriented. Generally someone who will take adventures with me where we both know when to tap each other on the shoulder to say in a literal and proverbial sense "let's turn back" or "I think we can go a little farther."
