Retired. Physically fit and healthy. Work out 4 or 5 days a week, but not obsessive. Can put workouts on hold for vacations. Love music; amateur pianist. Enjoy reading, when "at rest". Play most sports. I have completed triathlons at International distances. I enjoy technical climbing (have profile of 15 years of climbing adventures at rockclimbing.com site). Avid alpine skier, and also will cross-country ski. I have backpacked in wilderness, and I enjoy mountain biking, kayaking and canoeing. I fish, golf and play tennis, handball, and racketball. I also can slalom water ski. In high school, I was on swim team and water polo team.... I have travelled extensively: in USA, Canada, Europe, Bahamas, and China. Love to travel.
Two adult daughters, both athletic, out on their own now.
Retired May 2017. Was first a research scientist with PhD, studying heart and skeletal muscle bioenergetics. I 'finished' my career as MD, about 31 years, Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Finished in quotes, because I'm still licensed and Board-certified.
