Hi. I am grateful for my health and loving family. Family is important to me. I am very close to my parents and my younger brother. I have a two year old daughter who I love very much.
I am looking for a guy who has the same passion for the outdoors as I do. I am seeking a practical, responsible, open minded individual who is patient, a good communicator, honest, caring, is in touch with their own feelings, is aware of other people's feelings and has a sense of humor.
I work at a professional job, but have a lot time off. I can cook a good meal and like to entertain. I try to keep a clean house.
My favorite thing to do is to seek adventure in the outdoors. I like all kinds of camping. My real passions are outdoor activities that take more effort (hiking, backcountry skiing, alpine skiing, climbing, backpacking),
I'm not real good at any one outdoor sport, I am a "jack of all trades, master of none" type. I love taking my daughter outside too, but sometimes I like to do stuff that she can't do yet.
Rivers are very important to me. GI love rafting and want to learn more skills kayaking. When you're on the river, all of your troubles melt away.
My favorite peaks is Mt. Shasta.
To keep in shape I like to trail run, do Pilates, get on the treadmill and do DVD workouts when it's bad weather.
It is very important to me to create family traditions around Hallmark holidays, the solstice, seasons etc.. My daughter and I love hiking, going apple picking and to the pumpkin patch in the fall, snowshoeing/skiing on winter full moons, ice skating and having summer bonfire s'mores.
Eating right and exercising are very important to me. Having said that, I do have a sweet tooth. I love most foods, but my favorites are Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Italian and Pizza. I sometimes like to veg out on the couch and watch TV, movies. Sleeping in was one my favorite things to do, but that is in short supply with a two year old!
I love going out to dinner, movies, concerts, miniature golf, bowling, museums, IMAX and doing stuff in the bigger cities.
I've traveled to Hawaii, Vancouver, B.C., Western US, and some parts of the Mayan Trail in Mexico and Central America. I would love to do more traveling.
Cooking, photography, gardening fly fishing, mountain biking, canyoneering and survival are some things I would like to learn more about. Also, I would like to become a better teleskier, rock climber and white water kayaker.
