I'm a country girl/farm hand trapped in a secretary's body. I'm often referred to as a "truly nice girl" and a "real sweetheart." I like looking pretty, but I don't wear (or know how to put on) make-up; that just feels too high maintenance.
It's sometimes hard to tell in pictures, but I'm a size 4 and 6 ft tall...and I hate being 6 ft tall.
Things that are big in my life are: Horses, Writing (I'm a published poet), Rodeo, Animals, Hiking, the Outdoors, Cooking, Football (Ravens), Hockey (Toronto Maple Leafs) and History.
Favorite Places to Hang Out: Outside, Hiking trails, downtown Frederick, downtown Ellicott City, Rodeos, Equestrian events, Sporting Events (I also love boxing & MMA), National Parks & Battlefields, and I love exploring old cemeteries.
I'm also known as "Ms. Laidback" and I have a friend who is cautious about eating/drinking around me because I so often make others laugh. I enjoy being funny and bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around me, and I like people who can do the same.

Unfortunately, I'm not looking for a long distance relationship. I've done that in the past and know it is just not for me.
I know the value of doing hard work on yourself; I lost 170lbs (without surgery) and I have also survived a muscle wasting disease. I know that anything is possible if you truly want it to be, and I am ready to meet someone who knows this as well, or ready to be there for someone who is figuring that out.
I'm best suited for a "man's man." I love guys who drive trucks, I love guys who drive motorcycles. I love guys who work with their hands and listen to country music and hunt and fish.
